A Foursquare nemrégiben elindította az ingyenes egyetemi/főiskolai badge programját. Ennek keretében már 23 amerikai egyetemen lehet jelvényeket szerezni, amely elnézve a jobb oldali térképet (kattintásra megnézhető nagyban is) lefedi az USA államait. A táblázatot böngészve elmondható, hogy a híresebb egyetemek, főiskolák mindegyike kapott egy szép, egyedi badge-t, ráadásul nem is az összecsapott fajtából. Még mielőtt valaki bárki nekiáll a badgeket megszerezni, érdemes tudni, hogy egy profillal csak egy egyetemi badge lehet aktív, de az alábbi tweet szerint ezt a jövőben kiterjesztenék, hogy évente megszerezhető lenne egy újabb badge. A fanatikusoknak a táblázat alatt van egy térkép is, lehet vele játszadozni.
